Description
Human papillomaviruses (HPVs) are small DNA viruses of the papovavirus family that can be associated with various skin warts including common warts, plantar warts, plane warts, condyloma acuminatum, Bowenoid papulosis, epidermodysplasia verruciformis, and laryngeal papillomas. Other lesions reported to be HPV-associated are squamous papilloma, verruca vulgaris, warty lip lesions, and conjunctival papillomas.
