The recombinant enzyme from ginger (Zingiber zerumbet) gives 62.6% beta-eudesmol, 16.8% 10-epi-gamma-eudesmol, 10% alpha-eudesmol, and 5.6% aristolene. cf. EC 4.2.3.68 (beta-eudesmol synthase) and EC 4.2.3.85 (alpha-eudesmol synthase)
