Description
Ross River fever is an infectious disease caused by Ross River virus (RRV), an alphavirus in the Togaviridae family of +ssRNA viruses, and transmitted by Aedes and Culex mosquitoes. RRV was first isolated in 1972 near Ross River in North Queensland, Australia.
