Description
O'nyong-nyong fever is an infectious disease caused by O'nyong-nyong virus (ONNV), an alphavirus in the Togaviridae family of +ssRNA viruses, and transmitted by Anopheles mosquitoes. ONNV was first isolated in 1959 in Uganda.
